対比する空間

　この作品は、「求心的・放射的」、「鋭角的・鈍角的」、「高い・低い」という３つの対概念を設定し、作成したものである。

求心的・放射的

　全体の形は求心的にも見えるし、放射的にも見える。
形を構成する三角形は中心に向かっているため、
求心的である。一方、形としては、中央から次第に外に拡散していくように見えるため、放射的である。

鋭角的・鈍角的

　中心に向かっている先端は鋭く、映る影も三角形のため、鋭角的である。一方、外側の形は曲線を用いて設計ししたため、平らで柔らかいような構造となっている。また、影も曲線的のため、鈍角的である。

高い・低い

　外側から内側までの高さは、徐々に上がっていき、人が歩ける高さからマンションほどの天井高さまで変化していく。そのため、内側は高く、外側は低い。

This work was created by establishing three counter-concepts: centripetal/radial, acute/obtuse and high/low.

Centripetal/Radial

　The overall shape can be seen as centripetal or radial.

Acute/Obtuse 

　The shadows towards the center are acute-angled. On the other hand, the shadows of outer shape are curved and therefore obtuse.

High/Low

　The inner side of the building is high whereas the outer side is low.
